BandBEAT, presented by the Yamaha Corporation of America, is a regional marching band championship designed to allow high school marching band programs in the area to receive high quality feedback from nationally recognized adjudicators. The event serves as a special performance opportunity for students to receive high-level feedback, as well as create memories and moments that will last a lifetime.

Tickets will be sold online and at the gate. Prices will increase the day of the show.
General Admission (Online) - $17/ticket
General Admission (At the Gate) - $18/ticket
Student Admission (At the Gate w/student ID) - $16/ticket
Children (ages six and under) - Free

This event accepts cash and major credit/debit cards. No checks accepted.
Ticketing Policy
Tickets purchased for this event are considered general admission. Seating is not guaranteed, and is available on a first come, first serve basis. All sales are final. No requests for refunds will be accepted. It is the patron's responsibility to ensure they are seated at least 15 minutes prior to a scheduled performance. Tickets purchased for this event are considered a revokable license to attend the stated event. Carolina Crown reserves the right to revoke admission with or without refund of admission.

Online registration for BandBEAT begins on February 29, 2024. Performance order is based on registration date. Priority in performance order is given to those bands that register early.

Prelims classes will be determined based on horn-line size. The classes will be assigned as follows:
Class A - 0 to 34 winds
Class AA - 35 to 49 winds
Class AAA - 50 to 64 winds
Class AAAA - 65 to 79 winds
Class AAAAA - 80+ winds
Bands may opt to move up to a higher classification than assigned, however bands will not be permitted to perform in a classification below their assignment.

Each class will receive awards for first, second and third place. Caption awards will be given for High Music Performance, High Visual Performance and High Overall Effect. A Grand Champion will be named to the highest overall score, regardless of classification at both award ceremonies that day.

There is a $150.00 registration fee due within thirty days of your registration. This replaces the ticket fundraiser from years past!
