Carolina Crown’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the election of two new members to its ranks beginning in January 2010. They are Barry Morgan and Elizabeth (Liz) Ciardi.

According to Carolina Crown Executive Director Kevin Smith, “We are extremely pleased to have Barry and Liz as our newest board members. Combined they bring a tremendous amount of business and performance experience to our organization. Barry brings a wonderful mix of both business and legal knowledge combined with a deep understanding of music education. We are pleased to have someone of his stature advise and serve our board.

“Throughout her career, Liz has demonstrated an extraordinary ability to build, nourish, and grow successful, long-term relationships with business partners, colleagues and customers. Her dedication, professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction are reflected in numerous awards and recognition she has received,” Smith continued.

A native of Cobb County, Ga., Barry E. Morgan is serving in his third term Solicitor General for Cobb State Court. He is a member of the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia, and currently serves that body as vice chair. With more than 22 years of mortgage industry experience, Ciardi is a mortgage professional and member of Wells Fargo’s prestigious Leaders Club in just her second full year with the company. She is active in the York County, S.C., and Charlotte, N.C., communities. Ciardi marched as a drum corps member from 1974-1980 in the Townskids Drum and Bugle Corp, Townsmen Drum and Bugle Corp and the Royal Brigade Drum and Bugle Corp.
