The CrownBOARD added two brand new members to their ranks to start 2017, and also brought back two former members that had taken some time away.
Toby Cummings and Brian Walsh were added to CrownBOARD for their first time. During his past 20 years in nonprofit management work, Toby has served on various boards and governing bodies of nonprofits. He recently completed five years on the Board of Directors for the Concord Blue Devils and was serving as their Vice President when he relocated to South Carolina in 2014. Today, Toby is the Executive Director of the National Association for Campus Activities based in Columbia, SC. Brian was a marching member of the Crossmen when they were still domiciled in the Northeast. This led him to the position of Director of Corps Operations for YEA! in the mid-1990’s, serving under both Jim Coates and George Hopkins. He eventually relocated to the San Francisco Bay area where he is now the CEO of CodeScience, a leading consultancy on the Salesforce platform.
Also returning to CrownBOARD again for 2017 is Charles Wilkerson and Jim Williams. Charles has been involved with Crown since 1997, serving on various CrownEVENTS, as well as the Governance, Finance and Marketing Committees. Jim joined the Crown organization in 2009 as a CrownCOUNCIL member and has served for several years as Producer of NightBEAT: Tour of Champions, as well as recently being in the lead role in the development of Crown’s most-recent initiative, CrownCARES.
Crown welcomes all four of these very talented and experienced individuals to the 2017 CrownBOARD. For the complete listing and bios for CrownBOARD please click here.
