Zach Schlicher

Zach Schlicher is currently the principal snare technician for the Carolina Crown percussion section. He began his marching career with The Cadets and continued to march with the corps for four years. He was the percussion section leader during his final season. During those four years, the percussion section won three consecutive Fred Sanford High Percussion awards. In 2003, he received a "Distinguished Service Award" and was named "Cadet of the Year" in 2004. 

In addition to Zach is the battery instructor at King Philip Regional High School. He has been an active cast member of Blue Devils entertainment since 2004. He worked with the Madison Scouts ('05,'06) and Spirit of America competition band and winter percussion ensemble ('05,'06). He has also been a featured solo performer at clinics presented by Thom Hannum ('03,'06), and Colin McNutt ('06).

Aside from performing in drum corps, Zach has performed across the country with different groups at many world famous venues, as well as on national television shows such as "The View", "The Late Show with David Letterman" and MTV's "TRL". He was also featured in a promotional commercial shot for the NBA. Zach is a proud member of the Vic Firth Education Team.
