Andrew Markworth – Front Ensemble Arranger

Andrew Markworth is currently the band director at Centerville High School in Centerville, OH where he directs the marching band, all three concert bands and Jazz Ensemble I.  He has been working there for the last five years as an instructor, arranger, and composer for the nationally acclaimed “Centerville Jazz Band” and world champion winter drumline of which he was a member from 1997-2001.  Andrew was a member of the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2001 and 2002, being the percussion captain in 2002.  In 2004, he was a member of the 2004 DCI World Champion Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps.  Andrew was also a member of the WGI Independent World medalist Rhythm X Indoor Drumline from 2003-2005 being the ensemble captain in 2004 and 2005.  In 2006 Andrew was the front ensemble arranger for Rhythm X and was one of several battery designers.
