Frank Chapple – Percussion Coordinator

Frank Chapple is currently the Percussion Coordinator for the Carolina Crown. He is a Band Director/ Director of Percussion at Keller High School in Keller, Texas where he resides with his beautiful wife and soon to be baby girl.


Frank’s drum corps career began as a marching member of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps from 1990-1993. He stayed in Rockford, Illinois in 1994 to begin his extensive teaching career and was on the percussion staff for the 1996 World Champion Phantom Regiment Drum and Corps. In 1997, he moved to the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps where he filled the dual position of Percussion Coordinator/ Snare Tech for three years and was vital in the building of an elite percussion program in DCI. From 2002-2004, Frank was on the percussion staff with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps and in 2005 he returned to the Glassmen for two years as a Percussion Consultant and Snare Tech.

Frank is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Percussive Arts Society, and Texas Music Educators Association. He is also an endorsed educator for Vic Firth, Inc.
